Ingredients:
- 2lb cauliflower
- Pinch of salt
- Cheese sauce (recipe below)
- Bread crumbs for topping
- Add salt and boil cauliflower in hot water about 2 minutes (don't over cook). Put into a Pyrex baking dish.
- For cheese sauce
- 3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of white ground pepper
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp butter
Method :
Step 1 - Heat butter and add flour cook about 2 minutes while stirring.
Step 2 - Then add milk little at a time, each addition mix it well without leting it get lumpy. Cook sauce for few minutes on low heat while stirring.
Step 3 - Add salt and pepper. When sauce get thick add grated cheese and stir further few minutes.
Step 4 - Pour cheese sauce over the cauliflower. Sprinkle bread crumbs over and bake in the oven about 20 minutes. (Oven set 350F) Serve hot.
