Ingredients:
- 1 lb seer or prawns
- 1/2 lb Red onions
- 1/4 Capsicum Chilies
- 1/4 to 1/2 bottle vinegar
- Sprig of curry leaves
- 3 to 4 tbls mustard
- 2 tsp coriander seeds
- 1 tsp cumin
- 6 to 8 pods of garlic
- Thin slice of ginger
- 1 to 2 dry chilies
Method:
Step 1 - Grind all the ingredients in vinegar except fish.
Step 2 - Fry the fish until crisp. Drain well. Heat vinegar with salt (1 cup of vinegar to 1 table spoon salt) bring to boil.
Step 3 - Add onions and capsicums. Heat 1 tbls fat and add curry leaves and fry until crisp.
Step 4 - Add vinegar and all ground ingredients to the fried fish and mix well. Store in a jar when quite cold.
